1. Sticky cylinder. Cylinder sticking usually occurs when a diesel engine is severely short of water. Before the cylinder sticks, the engine is unable to operate, and the water temperature gauge indicates more than 100°C. If you put a few drops of cold water on the engine body, there will be a "hissing" sound and white smoke will appear. The water drops quickly. Transpiration. 2. Burn tiles. 3. The valve is dropped from the cylinder. The valve entering the cylinder is usually caused by a broken valve stem, broken valve spring, cracked valve spring seat, falling valve lock clip, etc. When the cylinder head makes a "dang-dang" knocking sound (the piston hits the valve), a "chuck" friction sound (the piston hits the valve), or is accompanied by other abnormal sounds, and the engine operates unstable, it is often a precursor to valve drop. 4. Broken shaft. When a hidden crack occurs at the journal shoulder of the diesel engine crankshaft due to fatigue, as the crack expands and intensifies, a dull knocking sound is emitted in the engine crankcase. 7. Flywheel. When there are hidden cracks in the flywheel, it will make a hoarse sound when struck with a hammer.
